  1. The preferences have been converted to SmartKeys 2.1 format. Check the settings to be sure they are right and re-add any desk accessories to the exclusion lists.

  3. Changes to the exclusion list take effect at restart.

  5. The current keyboard mapping is not the US one. The shifted punctuation smartkey will not intercept any typing.

  7. The current script system is not the Roman one. SmartKeys 2.1 will not intercept any typing.

  9. SmartKeys 2.1 is unable to create or save changes to the preferences file. Check that your disk is not locked and has room available.

  11. The SmartKeys 2.1 Keys cannot be found. Reboot with SmartKeys 2.1 installed (System Folder in 6; Controls Panels folder in 7) and be sure the shift key isn‚Äôt held down at startup.
